LEICESTER CITY vs MANCHESTER CITY (1230)
Leicester have started digging themselves out of a massive hole that had seen them bottom of the table just a few short weeks ago. City briefly topped the table last week, only for Arsenal to leapfrog them the following day. This should be a good start to the weekend, with the Foxes if not optimistic for a surprise win then with some belief that they can give the champions a game. Away win.
BOURNEMOUTH vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (1500)
The Cherries have been on the receiving end of some severely dodgy VAR decisions of late. But then so have Spurs, much to their manager’s chagrin which is always entertaining to behold. But the visitors should be more than able to leave Dorset with all points in the bag. Away win.
BRENTFORD vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1500)
Only goal difference keeps Wolves from the foot of the table. They seem unable to score, while Brentford’s energetic discipline keeps them, for now, from the table’s southern wasteland. Don’t expect that to change today – even with Bobby Madley as ref. Home win.
BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs CHELSEA (1500)
Since Potter has been casting his magic on the Stamford Bridge side, his former charges have not won one league game. Yet they remain in ninth place, one above us and one below Liverpool, so they cannot be easily dismissed. Or can they? Away win.
CRYSTAL PALACE vs SOUTHAMPTON (1500)
The Saints are making hard work of this season despite a couple of creditable recent results. Palace, too, are finding things a grind, which makes the prospect of watching this game more a labour of love than a lipsmacking Premier League classic. Draw.
NEWCASTLE UNITED vs ASTON VILLA (1500)
Managing Villa is a tough gig. Following Wenger at the Emirates was also not easy, but Emery will hope that the interim will have offered opportunities for reflection and profitable learning. A massive win last time out will have boosted the Villains’ self-confidence. Meanwhile, Newcastle have climbed into the top four and will be in no rush to give that up. Home win.
FULHAM vs EVERTON (1730)
Fulham go into this in seventh places, which is about 10 places higher than most people would have expected at the start of the season. Everton are 12th, which is also higher than popular forecasts. A tough visit to the Thames for Merseysiders. Draw.
LIVERPOOL vs LEEDS UNITED (1945)
Not quite the fixture that Jesse Marsch would have wished for at this time, knowing that his side could find themselves bottom at the end of the weekend. But he can take some cheer from Liverpool’s erratic form this season. Hope yes, though reasonable expectation may be pushing things. Home win.

Top plays bottom. Easy, innit? Home win.
MANCHESTER UNITED vs WEST HAM UNITED (1615)
Lucas Paqueta remains sidelined by injury for another week, and Jarrod Bowen is touch and go for an Old Trafford start with an ankle problem. Aguerd will be given more time to acclimatise to English conditions. Despite some results going our way of late, our play too often borders on the desperate – particularly in the first half. It’s time to change that, because we have the players to entertain and attack. Man U’s form has picked up of late and has seen them climb up the table. This will not be an easy game, but if we genuinely give it a go and take the game to them we could make this a profitable evening. Away win.
CHAMPIONSHIP
Sheffield Utd, of late leaders of the second tier, have dropped into the play-off places, leaving Burnley who host Reading (8th) today heading the table. QPR missed the chance to take their place with defeat at Brum last night. Blackburn (away to Hull), Swansea (away at Bristol C) and Millwall (away at bottom placed Huddersfield) occupy the other play-off places. Coventry have pulled themselves up from bottom place which they had occupied for several weeks and now sit in 22nd spot with two games in hand over the sides above them.

The Europa looks stronger than last season IMO!! Just off the top of my head, Arsenal, ManU and Barcelona and in all probability Juventus and Seville and possibly Milan will “flop” into it, had Spurs dropped im not sure I would have them as favourites………….

People say 'Why the obsession with Spurs', been going since late 70's. Millwall haven't been around us much since then.

Remember number of testimonials against Spurs, League cup games, league games where it was decent.

Well without calling anyone thick, if they'd dropped into the europa league they would have been one of the best teams in it and had a great chance of winning it.
One of the most average teams in the CL, so the trophy drought is safe.

Don't really get why so many of our fans are obsessed with spurs, couldn't care less about them.
And happy for them to win the group, got as much chance of winning the CL as I have of fucking jennifer lawrence.
Surprised if the winner doesn't come from one of City, Real or Bayern, rest look average.
